What does the volunteer of the future look like?
The reliance on volunteers is increasing, volunteers are demanding increasing flexibility, and through changes in society, we are having to deal with an increasing number of volunteers who need extra support.
After a brief introduction about the volunteers of today, we will brainstorm together to think about what volunteer work and the (ideal) volunteer of 2025 will look like. How do we meet the changing needs, of both volunteers and organisations? How do employees and volunteers work together optimally? What is for you the ideal volunteer? And how do you find them and bind them to your organisation?
You can apply the findings of this brainstorm to your own organisation, assuring a ‘volunteer-proof’ future.
If you work in the cultural sector, health and welfare or in education, then join us!
This workshop will be led by Lonneke Jans from Cubiss. As guests, she will bring several experience experts from the library sector. Cubiss is organising this workshop with ContourdeTwern, an advisor from the urban support point for volunteer work. ContourdeTwern will also participate in the brainstorm session.
