How can we build communities and partnerships in order to achieve a transition to social and environmental well-being?
Do you sometimes feel powerless or confused by current problems such as spreading conflict, climate change or waves of people fleeing their homes? Ultimately it is you and I that drive change with our passions, creativity and capacities, but we must, in one way or another, organise the change we would like to see in this world.
In this interactive session we will explore together how we can build and activate communities and networks that can bring about positive impact on a large scale. The focus is on creating a learning environment that ensures that we gain the skills to tackle complex challenges with co-creative solutions.
Bring the challenges and ambitions of your own projects and initiatives, or abstract ideas of what you want to change, to this session so that we can work with practical cases and help each other to increase our impact.
This session is for everyone who:
– wants to bring positive change but does not yet know where and how to start;
– innovators, change makers and professionals who would like to enrich their insights and get organised for transitions and impact.
What you learn:
– to design and activate collaborative initiatives and projects;
– to use practical instruments that will increase your positive impact;
– knowledge, contacts and insights for your own project.
Need an example?
Communities? Networks? Impact? Can you please be a little more concrete?
Of course: In November 2016, we started a local community – Transform Tilburg – to bring together everyone involved in bringing about change. We organised an event for other organisations and groups to share knowledge about practical challenges in the work and the way in which they could help each other with these. We are now working on activating diverse people and missions by working towards a collective Action Day, whereby local challenges and needs, spread across Tilburg, will be tackled in larger and smaller Actions. It’s been quite a learning process, but one that has convinced us that it is possible to bring a positive change.
