In the newspaper, on TV, via social media, it’s increasingly about the climate. This subject is not just something playing out in distant countries, it’s becoming increasingly relevant in our small, cold country too. But can we still describe it as so? With more hot days, increasing drought, more forest fires, heavier downpours, heat stress, more cellars under water and more flooding in the streets, a white Christmas seems further away than ever.
Are we ready for the future? Can we act quickly enough to bring a halt to climate change? What do we need to do, or not do, in Tilburg? Or do you think that the stories about climate change are a load of rubbish and things in Tilburg aren’t actually that bad?
Do you live in Tilburg or just like Tilburg, do you study or work, are you a politician or simply a concerned inhabitant: let us know what you think. Debate with us and let us know what you think should happen. Or not. The outcomes of the debate will be submitted in a pamphlet to councillor Mario Jacobs and the Tilburg County Council. With the local council elections on the horizon in March 2018, this is an excellent opportunity to let the politicians know what you think should happen over the next four years.
